🛒 Order Cancellation Policy
Once an order is placed, it will not be eligible for cancellation.
Cancellation may be allowed only under exceptional circumstances within 4 hours of placing the order through the website.Cancellation will be accepted only if the order has not been packed or dispatched.
In case shipment or invoicing has already begun, applicable GST, payment gateway, and shipping charges will be deducted.After 4 hours of placing an order, no cancellation shall be accepted under any circumstances.
The company reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including:
Delivery area out of coverage
Incorrect or incomplete address
Pricing or listing errors
Payment verification failure or suspected fraud
💰 Refund and Credit Note Policy
Refunds, where approved, will be processed within 15 working days from the date of approval and notified via email.
In most cases, the company issues a Credit Note / Store Credit equal to the net product value (excluding GST and charges).
Validity: 12 months from the issue date
Usage: Redeemable only on www.upavedas.com
Expiry: Automatically void after 12 months, non-refundable and non-transferable
Once a Tax Invoice is generated, 18% GST becomes payable to the Government and cannot be refunded.
Refunds will be processed only to the same payment method used for purchase.
The company has already deposited GST with the Government of India; refunding that portion would violate tax law.
📦 Return and Exchange Policy
If a product is damaged or wrongly delivered, contact Customer Care within 4 hours of delivery.

Provide: Clear unboxing video or photo proof
Direct returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Once approved, the product must be returned in its original packaging.
Replacement or credit will be processed within 15 working days after inspection.
📋 Conditions for Return / Exchange
Product must be unused, unaltered, and in original packaging.
All seals, labels, and accessories must be intact.
Free gifts or combos must also be returned.
Invalid claims will be rejected, and re-shipping charges will apply.
No cash refund once credit or replacement is provided.
🚫 Return / Exchange Not Allowed If
The product is free or promotional.
Customer refuses to accept delivery.
Wrong/incomplete address provided.
Damage caused after delivery.
A complaint was raised after 4 hours of delivery.
⚙️ Courier Delay / Third-Party Liability
Once dispatched, delivery is handled by third-party couriers.
UpaVedas shall not be responsible for delays, strikes, or natural disruptions, though support will be provided to resolve courier issues.
🧾 Replacement Disclaimer
Replacements depend on stock availability.
If unavailable, a store credit or alternate product of equal value will be offered.
🔐 Fraud & Payment Dispute Policy
Any false chargeback or unauthorized refund claim after a voluntary payment will be treated as misuse.
All payments made through UPI, Cards, or Net Banking are final and non-reversible once confirmed.
The company retains the right to take legal action under IPC 420 (Cheating) and 406 (Breach of Trust).
In case a customer initiates a false fraud or chargeback claim after voluntary payment,
the company reserves the right to submit all digital proof to the bank, payment gateway, and legal authorities,
and to recover all legal and administrative costs incurred due to such false claims.
💼 Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Declaration
UpaVedas operates under EasyCard.in Retail India
All transactions are B2C commercial sales under GST compliance.
Refunds and cancellations follow Indian tax and business laws.
🧠 Communication and Proof Clause
All refund/return communication must be made via support@upavedas.com only.
WhatsApp, SMS, or social media messages will not be treated as valid proof.
⚖️ Legal & Jurisdiction Clause
All disputes related to orders, payments, or returns shall be governed by Indian Law.
The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes will be the courts of Delhi (NCT).
If any customer faces an issue or wishes to take legal action,
they are required to file the case only in the courts of Delhi (NCT) as per this policy agreement.
Any false fraud claim or misuse of refund channels shall invite legal proceedings under the Indian Penal Code (Sections 420, 406, and 503).
⚖️ Jurisdiction Enforcement Clause
Any legal notice, court case, or arbitration proceedings must first be notified to EasyCard.in Retail India via registered email (support@upavedas.com) before filing in court.
Failure to do so will be considered a violation of this policy agreement.
⚖️ Arbitration & Settlement Clause
Before filing a case, both parties agree to amicably settle disputes within 30 days through written communication.
If unresolved, the matter will go to a sole arbitrator appointed by EasyCard.in Retail India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Delhi, in English language, and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
EasyCard.in Retail India and its representatives will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
Maximum liability, if proven, will not exceed the amount paid for the specific order.
🔒 Data and Privacy Protection
Customer data is processed securely per our Privacy Policy.
Payment information is handled through PCI-DSS-compliant gateways.
The company is not responsible for breaches caused by customer negligence or phishing.
🧾 Policy Acceptance
By placing an order on www.upavedas.com, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund and Returns Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
By proceeding with payment, the customer digitally accepts this policy, which is legally binding under Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
This digital acceptance shall be treated as a valid e-contract under Indian law.
